HOW SUZIE'S STUDIO WAS BUILT
The Suzie's Studio community, in particular, Netza Vidal and the parents of his Ballet Folklorico class, come out and work week-ends and evenings to help build Suzie's Studio. Thank you so much for your generosity!
We all glue on Eva foam then cut and nail together floating plywood subfloor. Umberto (in striped shirt) lent his professional expertise and led our team. His son and daughter helped out and the creative sparks flying.
Then we install our engineered hardwood oak flooring - much pounding! Umberto, Netza, and Rudolpho cut and helped me pound in the flooring. Umberto was back again for the really difficult cuts at the end.
Netza and I cut and installing the baseboard and mirror trim. Todd, my hubby and dance partner painted the ceiling. Then Jose brought in his professional painting company in the evenings after working full time during the day to prime and paint all the walls, baseboard and trim. Netza's sister paints our sign.
