Our easy to follow format will walk you through a series of moves creating a deeper understanding of the dance while having fun and dancing yourself into better shape for a better you! Dance classes are a great way to meet new people and have fun! Dance is for any age. Class for beginners in the front room and for more experienced dancers in the main studio.
About the Teacher:
Salsa Marin's founder, Mark Ellis, was inspired to dance from when he was born. As a native Latin dancer, he was part of the salsa scene from its inception. As a Nicaraguan, music and dance is a way life. Life is enjoyed through music and movement. As one of the early adopters, his method is designed to be more than just steps, and allows for the unique expression of oneself and the music. Mark has a unique blend of Cuban and ballroom style salsa, learned from great teachers like Jimmy Rumba, Jose Maldonado (PasoFino) and the great Ruben Gonzalez.
